The Montenegran government has extended by two months the deadlines for offers for the purchase of the port companies Kontejnerski Terminal and Generalni Tereti of Bar, and of the rail transport company Montecargo.

Offers have arrived from companies based in Serbia, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. The tender for the sale of 54% of Kontejnerski, along with a 30-year concession in 85.4% of Montecargo, was published in October last year, putting the initial deadline for the presentation of offers at February 1.
