The average salary in Montenegro for December 2009 was EUR 470, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Montenegro – Monstat reported.

Compared to November 2009, the average net salary has registered some 3.1 per cent increase. The average net salary for 2009 in the country is estimated at EUR 463, which is some 11.3 per cent increase comparing to 2008.

Taking into account that prices have rose 3.4 per cent in a year, the real salary in Montenegro has been increased by 7.6 per cent.
