In the first eight months of 2009, direct foreign investments amounted to EUR 541.6 million or EUR 454.7 million net which is 15 per cent more than in the same period last year, reports Montenegrin daily Vijesti.
Investments in domestic companies and banks increased and amounted to EUR 330 million or 62.6 per cent more than in the same period last year. Investments from real estate fell by 50 per cent to EUR 112.5 million. The outflow of direct foreign investments amounted to EUR 86.9 million or 59 per cent less than in the same period last year.
