The regional water utility company Regionalni vodovod Crnogorsko primorje has obtained financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the modernisation of the water system in Montenegro.

A tender for the reconstruction of the pump station in the town of Budva has been invited. The work will include cleaning and modernisation of the structures, dismantling of obsolete machinery, as well as the repair of machinery that can still be used, the purchase, assembly, installation and testing of new pumps and other equipment required for the station to work.

The project is estimated to be completed eight months after the work commence. Tender is open until October 1st 2009.
