A Montenegro Airlines passenger aircraft has landed safely at the Podgorica airport despite losing one of its wheels during take-off.
According to official information from the airline, the plane, which was flying from Podgorica to Rome carrying 28 passengers and 5 crew members, was forced to return to the Montenegrin capital due to technical problems.
The Fokker 100 returned to the capital's airport and landed safely after dumping fuel into the Adriatic Sea, a spokeswoman for the Montenegro’s flag carrier said. No injuries were reported.
