Montenegrin Vranac, a wine produced by the Podgorica-based company 13. jul Plantaze, was declared the favourite regional brand at the Brand Fair 5, an international exhibition which ended in Belgrade on Saturday, February 14th.
According to visitors, the favourite international brands are McDonalds and Serbian Jaffa, the Brand Fair organisers announced.
This year’s exhibition featured presentations by Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Telekom, Vrsacki vinogradi and many more companies.
The Brand Fair, which brought together over 50 companies this year, was held under the slogan “Extraordinariness begins here”.
Vranac is a premium Montenegrin red wine made from indigenous grape variety, grown for centuries in Crmnitza, the area extending from Lake Skadar towards the Adriatic sea. It has won many prestigious awards for its quality. Since 1991, an expert group of Milan weekly Il mondo has classified Vranac wine among 100 top red wines of Europe.
