Ambassador of Russia to Montenegro Jakov Fedorovic Gerasimov said that the global economic crisis would not significantly affect Russian investors’ plans in Montenegro, reports Montenegrin daily Pobjeda.

Ambassador said that none of investors is considering stopping the projects with the Montenegrin partners. Gerasimov said that he talked to Russian and Montenegrin investment partners and he does not see that something drastic would happen next year.

He added that the economic crisis will affect some other countries more than Russia and Montenegro and, therefore, investors are carefully monitoring the situation globally and hope that there will not be rigorous consequences.
